A man from the companions of the Prophet ﷺ reported that the Prophet ﷺ delivered a sermon on the day of the conquest of Makkah and said, "Indeed, the blood-money for a victim killed by mistake resembling intentional killing, such as by a whip, a stick, or a stone, is one hundred camels, forty of which must be pregnant, ranging from those in their sixth year to those in their ninth, all of them carrying young."

عن رجل من أصحاب النبي ﷺ قال خطب النبي ﷺ يوم فتح مكة فقال ألا وإن قتيل الخطإ شبه العمد بالسوط والعصا والحجر مائة من الإبل فيها أربعون ثنية إلى بازل عامها كلهن خلفة
