Samura reported,
The Messenger of Allah ﷺ said, "Whoever kills his slave, we will kill him. Whoever mutilates his slave, we will mutilate him. And whoever castrates his slave, we will castrate him."

أن رسول الله ﷺ قال من قتل عبده قتلناه ومن جدعه جدعناه ومن أخصاه أخصيناه
Sourcing, [hasan] Reported by Abu Dawud, in the Book of Blood Money, chapter "One who kills his slave or mutilates him, is retaliation carried out against him?", hadith no. 4516, from the hadith of Hisham Dastawai, with the same wording, and its defect stems from the hadith of Tayalisi, and it is in Kubra, hadith no. 6938. Tirmidhi said, hadith no. 1414, "hasan and rare." Shuba also narrated it from Qatada with the same wording, in Abu Dawud, hadith no. 4515. Hakim declared it sahih according to the criterion of Bukhari, vol. 4, p. 367, and Dhahabi agreed with him.
