أخبرنا أحمد بن حرب قال حدثنا قاسم عن سفيان عن ابن طاوس عن أبيه

Muslim narrated it in the Book of Business Transactions, Chapter on the Invalidity of Selling a Purchased Item Before Taking Possession of It, no. 30/1525, from the hadith of Sufyan Thawri. Bukhari narrated it in the Book of Business Transactions, Chapter on What Is Mentioned Regarding the Sale of Food and Hoarding, no. 2132, from the hadith of Abdullah bin Tawus, with the same wording. It is also in Sunan al-Kubra, no. 6189.Qasim is Ibn Yazid Jarmi, Abu Yazid Mawsili. The mention of Muhammad bin Harb is an error, and the correct name is Ahmad bin Harb, as found in Sunan al-Kubra, Tuhfat Ashraf, and other sources.
