Makhrafah Abdi and I brought some cloth from Hajar, and the Messenger of Allah ﷺ came to us while we were at Mina, where a weigher was weighing goods for a fee. He bought a pair of trousers from us and said to the weigher, "Weigh it out, and tip the scale in his favor."
[Sahih] Reported by Abu Dawud, Sales, chapter on excess in weight and weighing for a wage, no. 3336, Tirmidhi, no. 1305, and Ibn Majah, no. 2220, from the hadith of Sufyan Thawri, and Qays bin Rabi followed him in narrating it.
