Abdullah bin Umar reported,
that the Messenger of Allah ﷺ forbade muzabanah. Muzabanah is the sale of fresh dates on the tree for dried dates by measure, and the sale of grapes on the vine for raisins by measure.

Bukhari (2171) narrated it, see the previous hadith, and Muslim, Sales, chapter on the prohibition of selling fresh dates for dried dates except in the case of araya, (1542), from the hadith of Malik, with the same wording. It is also in the Muwatta (narrated by Yahya) (2/624), and in Sunan al-Kubra (6125).
