The Messenger of Allah ﷺ granted a concession regarding araya sales.
أخبرنا قتيبة بن سعيد قال حدثنا سفيان عن الزهري عن سالم عن أبيه أن النبي ﷺ نهى عن بيع الثمر بالتمر و قال ابن عمر
أن رسول الله ﷺ رخص في العرايا

Muslim recorded it in the Book of Sales, in the chapter on the prohibition of selling fresh dates for dried dates except in the case of araya, hadith no. 1534, from the hadith of Sufyan bin Uyayna with this wording. It is also found in al-Kubra, hadith no. 6123, and it is agreed upon by Bukhari and Muslim. Bukhari recorded it in the Book of Sales, in the chapter on selling raisins for raisins and food for food, hadith no. 2173. Muslim also recorded it, hadith no. 60/1539, from the hadith of Ibn Umar from Zayd bin Thabit with this wording.
