The Messenger of Allah ﷺ sold a wooden bowl and a saddle blanket to the highest bidder.
أخبرنا إسحق بن إبراهيم قال حدثنا المعتمر وعيسى بن يونس قالا حدثنا الأخضر بن عجلان عن أبي بكر الحنفي
أن رسول الله ﷺ باع قدحا وحلسا فيمن يزيد
[Its isnad is hasan] Abu Dawud narrated it in the Book of Zakat, chapter on when asking for help is permissible, no. 1641, and Ibn Majah, no. 2198, from the hadith of Isa bin Yunus, with the same wording, and Tirmidhi said, no. 1218, "Hasan."
