The Messenger of Allah ﷺ forbade meeting the merchants bringing goods before they entered the market. Abu Usama affirmed this and said, "Yes."
أخبرنا إسحق بن إبراهيم قال قلت لأبي أسامة أحدثكم عبيد الله عن نافع
نهى رسول الله ﷺ عن تلقي الجلب حتى يدخل بها السوق فأقر به أبو أسامة وقال نعم
