I heard the Messenger of Allah ﷺ say, and by Allah, I will not hear anyone after him say, "I heard the Messenger of Allah ﷺ say," he said, "What is lawful is clear and what is unlawful is clear, and between the two are doubtful matters." And he may have said, "Between the two are matters that are doubtful."He said, "I will give you an example concerning that. Allah has a sanctuary, and Allah's
sanctuary is what He has forbidden. Whoever grazes around the sanctuary is bound to enter into it." And he may have said, "Whoever pastures around the sanctuary is bound to graze within it. And whoever mingles with what is doubtful is bound to grow bold."
