A bag of fat was lowered down on the day of Khaybar, so I grabbed hold of it and said, "I will not give any of this to anyone." Then I turned around, and there was the Messenger of Allah ﷺ smiling.

دلي جراب من شحم يوم خيبر فالتزمته قلت لا أعطي أحدا منه شيئا فالتفت فإذا رسول الله ﷺ يتبسم
Muslim narrated it, jihad, chapter on the permissibility of eating from the food of the spoils of war in enemy territory, hadith 1772, from the hadith of Sulayman bin Mughira, and Bukhari, chapter on the obligation of the khumus, chapter on what is obtained of food in enemy territory, hadith 3153, from the hadith of Humayd bin Hilal with the same wording. It is also in Kubra, hadith 4524.
