We were on a journey when the day of Adha arrived, and a man among us would buy a full-grown animal in exchange for two or three young ones. A man from Mazina said to us, "We were with the Messenger of Allah ﷺ on a journey when this day came, and a man would seek a full-grown animal in exchange for two or three young ones. The Messenger of Allah ﷺ said, 'The young one suffices for what the older one suffices for.'"
