The Messenger of Allah ﷺ sacrificed in Madinah on the Day of Sacrifice. He said, and whenever he did not sacrifice a camel, he would slaughter at the prayer ground.
أخبرنا علي بن عثمان النفيلي قال حدثنا سعيد بن عيسى قال حدثنا المفضل بن فضالة قال حدثني عبد الله بن سليمان قال حدثني نافع
أن رسول الله ﷺ نحر يوم الأضحى بالمدينة قال وقد كان إذا لم ينحر يذبح بالمصلى
[Its isnad is hasan] It is in Kubra, hadith 4457, and Bukhari narrated it, hadith 982, 1710, 5552, from the hadith of Nafi in a shortened form. So the hadith is sahih. Abdullah bin Sulayman is the Tall, Abu Hamza the Egyptian. Mufaddal bin Fadala is Ibn Ubayd Qatbani. Saeed bin Isa is Ibn Saeed bin Talid.
