The Messenger of Allah ﷺ fed us the meat of horses and forbade us from eating the meat of donkeys.
أخبرنا قتيبة قال حدثنا سفيان عن عمرو
أطعمنا رسول الله ﷺ لحوم الخيل ونهانا عن لحوم الحمر
[Sahih] Tirmidhi collected it, Foods, chapter on what has been said about eating horse meat, no. 1793, from Qutayba, and he said, hasan sahih. It is also found in Kubra, no. 4840. See the previous hadith.
