A sheep of ours died, so we tanned its hide, and we kept making nabidh in it until it became a worn-out waterskin.

Bukhari narrated it in the Book of Oaths and Vows, in the chapter "If someone swears not to drink nabidh, then drinks tila or sukr..." etc., hadith no. 6886, from the hadith of Ismail bin Abu Khalid through this same chain. It is also found in Al-Kubra, hadith no. 4566.
