The Messenger of Allah ﷺ said, "Religion is sincere counsel. Religion is sincere counsel. Religion is sincere counsel."They asked, "To whom, Messenger of Allah?"He replied, "To Allah, to His Book, to His Messenger, to the leaders of the Muslims, and to the Muslims in general."
أخبرنا الربيع بن سليمان قال حدثنا شعيب بن الليث قال حدثنا الليث عن ابن عجلان عن زيد بن أسلم عن القعقاع بن حكيم عن أبي صالح
عن رسول الله ﷺ قال إن الدين النصيحة إن الدين النصيحة إن الدين النصيحة قالوا لمن يا رسول الله قال لله ولكتابه ولرسوله ولأئمة المسلمين وعامتهم
[Sahih] Reported by Tirmidhi, chapter on Righteousness and Kinship, section on what has been said about sincere advice, no. 1926, from the hadith of Muhammad bin Ajlan, and he used the anann form. Muhammad bin Nasr Marwazi said, "His hadith is a mistake" (Al-Salah, no. 750), and it is found in Al-Kubra, no. 7822. Tirmidhi said, hasan sahih, and it has many corroborating narrations, among them the preceding hadith.
