The Messenger of Allah ﷺ said, "I had better not find you turning into disbelievers after me, striking one another's necks. No man is to be held accountable for the crime of his father, nor for the crime of his brother." This is the correct version.
أخبرنا محمد بن العلاء قال حدثنا أبو معاوية عن الأعمش عن مسلم
قال رسول الله ﷺ لا ألفينكم ترجعون بعدي كفارا يضرب بعضكم رقاب بعض لا يؤخذ الرجل بجريرة أبيه ولا بجريرة أخيه هذا الصواب
