The Messenger of Allah ﷺ said, "Fighting a Muslim is disbelief, and reviling him is grave disobedience."
أخبرنا إسحق بن إبراهيم قال أنبأنا عبد الرزاق قال حدثنا معمر عن أبي إسحق عن عمر بن سعد قال
أن رسول الله ﷺ قال قتال المسلم كفر وسبابه فسوق
[Sahih] Ahmad narrated it: 1/176, from Abdul-Razzaq, with this chain, and it is in al-Kubra, hadith no. 3567, and the hadith has corroborating narrations.
