Anas bin Malik reported,

A group of men from the tribe of Urayna came and stayed at al-Harrah, then came to the Prophet ﷺ. They found the climate of Medina unhealthy, so the Messenger of Allah ﷺ instructed them to go out to where the camels of charity were kept and drink from their milk and urine. They did so, but then they killed the herdsman, apostatized from Islam, and drove the camels away. The Messenger of Allah ﷺ sent men after them, and they were brought back. He had their hands and feet cut off, their eyes branded with hot nails, and left them at al-Harrah.Anas said, "I saw one of them biting at the ground with his mouth from thirst, until they died."
