The Prophet ﷺ said, "After me there will be troubles and troubles and troubles." He raised his hands and continued, "Whoever you see seeking to divide the affair of the community of Muhammad ﷺ while they are united, kill him, whoever he may be among the people."
أخبرنا أبو علي محمد بن يحيى المروزي قال حدثنا عبد الله بن عثمان عن أبي حمزة عن زياد بن علاقة
قال النبي ﷺ إنها ستكون بعدي هنات وهنات وهنات ورفع يديه فمن رأيتموه يريد تفريق أمر أمة محمد ﷺ وهم جميع فاقتلوه كائنا من كان من الناس
[Sahih] See the previous hadith. It is also in Kubra, no. 3484.Abdullah bin Uthman is Abdan, Abu Hamza is Miskari, and Muhammad bin Ali is Ibn Hamza Marwazi. In Kubra and Tuhfat Ashraf it appears as "Muhammad bin Yahya", which is a mistake.
