The Messenger of Allah ﷺ said, "We fight people until they say, 'There is no god but Allah.' Once they say, 'There is no god but Allah,' their blood and property become inviolable to us, except by its rightful claim, and their reckoning is with Allah."
أخبرنا القاسم بن زكريا بن دينار قال حدثنا عبيد الله بن موسى قال حدثنا شيبان عن عاصم عن زياد بن قيس
عن رسول الله ﷺ قال نقاتل الناس حتى يقولوا لا إله إلا الله فإذا قالوا لا إله إلا الله حرمت علينا دماؤهم وأموالهم إلا بحقها وحسابهم على الله
[Sahih] It is also in Al-Kubra, hadith 3440.Shayban is Ibn Abdul-Rahman Tamimi, Asim is Ibn Bahdala, Ziyad has not been deemed reliable by anyone other than Ibn Hibban, but his hadith has supporting narrations.
