The Messenger of Allah ﷺ forbade us from something that had been beneficial to us, but the command of the Messenger of Allah ﷺ is to be obeyed without question. He forbade us from leasing land in exchange for a portion of its produce.Ibrahim bin Muhajir corroborated this narration.
أخبرنا قتيبة قال حدثنا أبو عوانة عن أبي حصين عن مجاهد قال
نهانا رسول الله ﷺ عن أمر كان لنا نافعا وأمر رسول الله ﷺ على الرأس والعين نهانا أن نتقبل الأرض ببعض خرجها تابعه إبراهيم بن مهاجر
