The Messenger of Allah ﷺ passed by an old man being supported between two others.He asked, "What is the matter with this man?"They replied, "He has vowed to walk."He said, "Allah has no need for this man to torment himself. Tell him to ride."So he ordered him to ride.

مر رسول الله ﷺ بشيخ يهادى بين اثنين فقال ما بال هذا قالوا نذر أن يمشي قال إن الله غني عن تعذيب هذا نفسه مره فليركب فأمره أن يركب
