The Messenger of Allah ﷺ, while in spiritual seclusion, would extend his head out from the mosque so I could wash it, even while I was menstruating.
أخبرنا قتيبة قال حدثنا الفضيل وهو ابن عياض عن الأعمش عن تميم بن سلمة عن عروة
أن رسول الله ﷺ كان يخرج رأسه من المسجد وهو معتكف فأغسله وأنا حائض
Sahih. Darimi reported it: 1/247, hadith no. 1071, from the hadith of Fudayl bin Iyad, and the preceding hadith serves as a corroborating witness for it.
