The Messenger of Allah ﷺ said, "Whoever among you swears an oath and says 'By al-Lat,' let him say 'There is no god but Allah.' And whoever says to his companion, 'Come, let me gamble with you,' let him give in charity."
Bukhari narrated it in the Book of Tafsir, chapter "Have you seen Lat and Uzza," hadith no. 4860, and Muslim narrated it in the Book of Oaths, chapter on one who swears by Lat and Uzza should say "There is no god but Allah," hadith no. 1647, from the hadith of Zuhri through the same chain.
