Muslim narrated it in the Book of Gifts, the chapter on umra (life-long grants), hadith 1626, from Muhammad bin Muthanna, and Bukhari narrated it in the Book of Gifts, the chapter on what was said regarding umra and ruqba, hadith 2626, from the hadith of Qatada through this same chain, and it is also found in al-Kubra, hadith 6586.Muhammad here is Ibn Jafar, whose nickname was Ghundar.
