The Messenger of Allah ﷺ said, "There is no lifetime grant. Whoever is given something as a lifetime grant, it belongs to him outright."
أخبرنا علي بن حجر قال أنبأنا إسمعيل عن محمد عن أبي سلمة
أن رسول الله ﷺ قال لا عمرى فمن أعمر شيئا فهو له
[Its isnad is hasan] Ibn Majah narrated it in the Book of Gifts, Chapter on Umra, 2379, from the hadith of Muhammad bin Amr bin Alqama Laythi, through this route, and it is also in Al-Kubra, 6584.
