The Messenger of Allah ﷺ said, "The umra grant belongs to the one to whom it is given. It belongs to him and to his descendants, inherited by whoever inherits from his offspring."
أخبرنا عيسى بن مساور قال حدثنا الوليد قال حدثنا أبو عمرو عن ابن شهاب عن أبي سلمة
قال رسول الله ﷺ العمرى لمن أعمرها هي له ولعقبه يرثها من يرثه من عقبه
Muslim narrated it in the chapters on gifts, chapter on umra, hadith 1625, from the hadith of Ibn Shihab Zuhri, and Bukhari, in the chapter on gifts, chapter on what has been said about umra and ruqba, hadith 2625, from the hadith of Abu Salama bin Abdul-Rahman with the same wording, and it is in Al-Kubra, hadith 6573.
