Some of those who lived in the time of the Prophet ﷺ reported that he said, "The example of one who gives a gift and then takes it back is like a dog that eats, vomits, and then returns to eat its vomit."
أخبرنا محمد بن حاتم بن نعيم قال حدثنا حبان أنبأنا عبد الله عن حنظلة أنه سمع
أخبرنا بعض من أدرك النبي ﷺ أنه قال مثل الذي يهب فيرجع في هبته كمثل الكلب يأكل فيقيء ثم يأكل قيئه
