Bashir reported,

He gave his son a slave as a gift, then came to the Prophet ﷺ wanting him to bear witness to it.The Prophet ﷺ asked, "Have you given each of your children a gift like this one?"He replied, "No."The Prophet ﷺ said, "Then take it back."
