The Prophet ﷺ said, "It is not right for a Muslim man who has something to bequeath to let three nights pass without having his will written and kept with him."Abdullah bin Umar said, "Not a single night has passed since I heard the Messenger of Allah ﷺ say that without my will being with me."
أخبرنا يونس بن عبد الأعلى قال أنبأنا ابن وهب قال أخبرني يونس عن ابن شهاب قال فإن سالما أخبرني
أن النبي ﷺ قال ما حق امرئ مسلم تمر عليه ثلاث ليال إلا وعنده وصيته قال عبد الله بن عمر ما مرت علي منذ سمعت رسول الله ﷺ قال ذلك إلا وعندي وصيتي
