The Messenger of Allah ﷺ had a she-camel called al-Adba which could not be outrun. An Arabi came along on a young camel and outpaced her, which troubled the Muslims. When the Prophet ﷺ noticed the dismay on their faces, they said, "Messenger of Allah, al-Adba has been beaten."He replied, "It is a truth binding upon Allah that nothing rises in this world except that He brings it low."
أخبرنا محمد بن المثنى عن خالد قال حدثنا حميد
كانت لرسول الله ﷺ ناقة تسمى العضباء لا تسبق فجاء أعرابي على قعود فسبقها فشق على المسلمين فلما رأى ما في وجوههم قالوا يا رسول الله سبقت العضباء قال إن حقا على الله أن لا يرتفع من الدنيا شيء إلا وضعه
