The Messenger of Allah ﷺ said, "Goodness is tied to the forelocks of horses until the Day of Resurrection."
حدثنا محمد بن العلاء أبو كريب قال حدثنا ابن إدريس عن حصين عن عامر
قال رسول الله ﷺ الخيل معقود في نواصيها الخير إلى يوم القيامة
Muslim narrated it, no. 98/1873 (see the preceding hadith) from the hadith of Abdullah bin Idris, and Bukhari, in the Book of Jihad and Expeditions, chapter of "Horses have goodness tied to their forelocks until the Day of Resurrection," no. 2850, from the hadith of Husayn, through him, and it is in Al-Kubra, no. 4416.
