The Prophet ﷺ. Amr said that the Messenger of Allah ﷺ had divorced Hafsah and then taken her back. And Allah knows best.
أخبرنا عبدة بن عبد الله قال أنبأنا يحيى بن آدم ح وأنبأنا عمرو بن منصور قال حدثنا سهل بن محمد أبو سعيد قال نبئت عن يحيى بن زكريا عن صالح بن صالح عن سلمة بن كهيل عن سعيد بن جبير عن ابن عباس
أن النبي ﷺ وقال عمرو إن رسول الله ﷺ كان طلق حفصة ثم راجعها والله أعلم

Sourcing, sahih. Reported by Abu Dawud in "Divorce," chapter on reconciliation, no. 2283, from the hadith of Sahl bin Muhammad bin Zubayr with this wording, and he explicitly stated the direct hearing in Abu Dawud's version, so the defect is not damaging. A group of narrators followed him, transmitting from Yahya bin Zakariya bin Abu Zaida with this wording. The hadith is also found in Kubra, no. 5755.
