The daughter of Jahsh suffered from continuous bleeding for seven years. She asked the Prophet ﷺ about it, and he said, "This is not menstruation. It is only a vein bleeding."He instructed her to refrain from prayer for the duration of her usual menstrual period, then to perform a ritual bath and pray. So she would bathe before every prayer.
أخبرنا أبو موسى قال حدثنا سفيان عن الزهري عن عمرة
أن ابنة جحش كانت تستحاض سبع سنين فسألت النبي ﷺ فقال ليست بالحيضة إنما هو عرق فأمرها أن تترك الصلاة قدر أقرائها وحيضتها وتغتسل وتصلي فكانت تغتسل عند كل صلاة
