Subayah al-Aslamiyyah gave birth a few nights after her husband's death. She came to the Messenger of Allah ﷺ and sought permission to remarry. He granted her permission, and she married.
أخبرنا محمد بن سلمة والحارث بن مسكين قراءة عليه وأنا أسمع واللفظ لمحمد قالا أنبأنا ابن القاسم عن مالك عن هشام بن عروة عن أبيه
أن سبيعة الأسلمية نفست بعد وفاة زوجها بليال فجاءت رسول الله ﷺ فاستأذنت أن تنكح فأذن لها فنكحت
Bukhari narrated it in the book of Divorce, chapter, "Those with pregnancies, their term ends when they deliver their burden," hadith no. 5320, from the hadith of Malik through this route, and it is in Muwatta (Yahya's version), 2/590, and in Kubra, hadith no. 5699.
