The Messenger of Allah ﷺ would perform ablution with a mudd of water and bathe with a saa.
أخبرنا أبو بكر بن إسحق قال حدثنا الحسن بن موسى قال حدثنا شيبان عن قتادة عن الحسن عن أمه
كان رسول الله ﷺ يتوضأ بالمد ويغتسل بالصاع
[Sahih] Narrated by Ahmad: 6/280, no. 26925, from Hasan bin Musa through him, and the preceding hadith serves as a corroborating witness for it.
