Sourcing, [Its chain is daif]. Abu Dawud narrated it in the Book of Divorce, chapter on the sunnah of the divorce of a slave, hadith no. 2187, from Yahya bin Saeed Qattan, with the same wording, and it is also in Kubra, hadith no. 5620.Umar bin Mutab is daif, as stated in Taqrib and other works, and this chain indicates that Yahya bin Abu Kathir also used to narrate from weak narrators.
