My husband sent me word of my divorce, so I gathered my clothes and went to the Prophet ﷺ.He asked, "How many times did he divorce you?"I replied, "Three."He said, "You are not entitled to maintenance. Observe your waiting period in the house of your cousin Ibn Umm Maktum, for he is blind, so you may put off your outer garments in his presence. When your waiting period ends, inform me." Abridged.
أخبرنا عبيد الله بن سعيد قال حدثنا عبد الرحمن عن سفيان عن أبي بكر وهو ابن أبي الجهم قال سمعت
أرسل إلي زوجي بطلاقي فشددت علي ثيابي ثم أتيت النبي ﷺ فقال كم طلقك فقلت ثلاثا قال ليس لك نفقة واعتدي في بيت ابن عمك ابن أم مكتوم فإنه ضرير البصر تلقين ثيابك عنده فإذا انقضت عدتك فآذنيني مختصر
