Abdullah bin Abbas reported,

When Ali رضي الله عنه married Fatimah رضي الله عنها , the Messenger of Allah ﷺ said to him, "Give her something."Ali replied, "I have nothing."The Prophet asked, "Where is your Hutamiyyah armor?"

[Sahih] Bazzar reported it: 2/110, no: 462, from Harun with this chain. Abu Dawud reported it in the Book of Marriage, chapter on a man consummating marriage with his wife before paying her anything, no: 2125, from the hadith of Abdah bin Sulayman with this chain, and it is also in Kubra, no: 5568. Ibn Hibban graded it sahih, see the previous hadith. It has other chains, some of which were mentioned in the takhrij of Musnad Humaydi, no: 38.Saeed is Ibn Abu Aruba.
