The Messenger of Allah ﷺ sent me to a man who had married his father's wife, commanding me to strike off his neck and seize his property.
أخبرنا عمرو بن منصور قال حدثنا عبد الله بن جعفر قال حدثنا عبيد الله بن عمرو عن زيد عن عدي بن ثابت عن يزيد بن البراء عن أبيه قال أصبت عمي ومعه راية فقلت
بعثني رسول الله ﷺ إلى رجل نكح امرأة أبيه فأمرني أن أضرب عنقه وآخذ ماله
[Its chain of transmission is sahih] Abu Dawud narrated it in the Hudud chapter, in the section on a man who commits fornication with his female relatives who are forbidden to him in marriage, hadith no. 4457, from the hadith of Ubaydullah bin Amr, with this wording, and it is also found in al-Kubra, hadith no. 5489.
