I heard it from Uqba, but I have better memory of Ubayd's narration. He said, I married a woman, and a black woman came to us and said, "I have nursed you both."So I went to the Prophet ﷺ and informed him. I said, "I married so-and-so, daughter of so-and-so, and a black woman came to me and said, 'I have nursed you both.'"He turned away from me, so I came around to face him and said, "She is lying."He said, "How can you stay with her when she has claimed that she nursed you both? Leave her."
أخبرنا علي بن حجر قال أنبأنا إسمعيل عن أيوب عن ابن أبي مليكة قال حدثني عبيد بن أبي مريم
وقد سمعته من عقبة ولكني لحديث عبيد أحفظ قال تزوجت امرأة فجاءتنا امرأة سوداء فقالت إني قد أرضعتكما فأتيت النبي ﷺ فأخبرته فقلت إني تزوجت فلانة بنت فلان فجاءتني امرأة سوداء فقالت إني قد أرضعتكما فأعرض عني فأتيته من قبل وجهه فقلت إنها كاذبة قال وكيف بها وقد زعمت أنها قد أرضعتكما دعها عنك
