The brother of Abu Quays sought permission to enter upon Ayesha after the verse of the veil had been revealed, but she refused to grant him permission. She mentioned this to the Prophet ﷺ.He said, "Grant him permission, for he is your uncle."She replied, "It was the woman who nursed me, not the man."He said, "He is indeed your uncle, so let him enter upon you."

أن أخا أبي القعيس استأذن على عائشة بعد آية الحجاب فأبت أن تأذن له فذكر ذلك للنبي ﷺ فقال ائذني له فإنه عمك فقلت إنما أرضعتني المرأة ولم يرضعني الرجل فقال إنه عمك فليلج عليك
