The Prophet of Allah ﷺ used to say, "One or two suckles do not establish the prohibition of marriage through fosterage."

[Sahih]. Bayhaqi narrated it, 7/458, from the hadith of Saeed bin Abu Aruba through this route, and Hajjaj corroborated him, as found in Ibn Abu Shayba, 4/286, in abridged form. The hadith is also in Kubra, no. 5462. Qatada was blind, and the hadith has corroborating narrations.
