The daughter of Hamza was mentioned to the Messenger of Allah ﷺ, and he said, "She is the daughter of my brother through breastfeeding."Shuba said, Qatada heard this from Jabir bin Zayd.
أخبرني إبراهيم بن محمد قال حدثنا يحيى بن سعيد عن شعبة عن قتادة عن جابر بن زيد
ذكر لرسول الله ﷺ بنت حمزة فقال إنها ابنة أخي من الرضاعة قال شعبة هذا سمعه قتادة من جابر بن زيد
Bukhari recorded it in the Book of Marriage, Chapter "And your mothers who nursed you," hadith no. 5100, and Muslim in the Book of Nursing, Chapter on the prohibition of a niece through nursing, hadith no. 13/1447, from the hadith of Yahya bin Saeed Qattan with the same wording. It is also found in Kubra, hadith no. 5445.
