The Messenger of Allah ﷺ said, "A woman should not be married at the same time as her paternal aunt, nor a woman at the same time as her maternal aunt."
أخبرني هارون بن عبد الله قال حدثنا معن قال حدثنا مالك عن أبي الزناد عن الأعرج
قال رسول الله ﷺ لا يجمع بين المرأة وعمتها ولا بين المرأة وخالتها
Ikhraj (citation of sources)Bukhari narrated it in the chapters on marriage, in the section, "A woman should not be married along with her paternal aunt," hadith no. 5109, and Muslim narrated it in the chapters on marriage, in the section on the prohibition of combining a woman with her paternal or maternal aunt in marriage, hadith no. 1408, both from the hadith of Malik through this same chain. It is also found in Muwatta (Yahya's recension), 2/532, and in Kubra, hadith no. 5420.
