Jabir bin Ateek reported,

He entered with the Messenger of Allah ﷺ upon a deceased person, and the women began to weep. Jabir said, "Are you weeping while the Messenger of Allah ﷺ is sitting here?"He said, "Let them weep as long as he is among them, but once he has passed, no woman should weep."

عن عبد الملك بن عمير عن جبر

أنه دخل مع رسول الله ﷺ على ميت فبكى النساء فقال جبر أتبكين ما دام رسول الله ﷺ جالسا قال دعهن يبكين ما دام بينهن فإذا وجب فلا تبكين باكية
