The Messenger of Allah ﷺ ordered that snakes be killed, and he said, "Whoever fears their revenge is not one of us."
أخبرنا أبو محمد موسى بن محمد هو الشامي قال حدثنا ميمون بن الأصبغ قال حدثنا يزيد بن هارون قال أنبأنا شريك عن أبي إسحق عن القاسم بن عبد الرحمن عن أبيه
عن رسول الله ﷺ أنه أمر بقتل الحيات وقال من خاف ثأرهن فليس منا
[Its chain of transmission is daif]. Reported by Abu Dawud in the Book of Manners, chapter on killing snakes, hadith no. 5249, from the hadith of Sharik the judge, and he narrated it using "an" without specifying direct hearing, as did his teacher. The hadith of Abu Dawud, nos. 5252 and 5248, serves as a substitute for it.
