The Messenger of Allah ﷺ said, "Whoever spends a pair of anything in the cause of Allah will be called by the keepers of Paradise from its gates, 'So-and-so, come, enter here!'"Abu Bakr said, "Messenger of Allah, that is one who suffers no loss."The Messenger of Allah ﷺ replied, "I truly hope that you will be among them."
أخبرنا عمرو بن عثمان قال حدثنا بقية عن الأوزاعي قال حدثني يحيى عن محمد بن إبراهيم قال أنبأنا أبو سلمة
قال رسول الله ﷺ من أنفق زوجين في سبيل الله دعته خزنة الجنة من أبواب الجنة يا فلان هلم فادخل فقال أبو بكر يا رسول الله ذاك الذي لا توى عليه فقال رسول الله ﷺ إني لأرجو أن تكون منهم
Bukhari narrated it in the Book of Jihad and Expeditions, chapter on the merit of spending in the cause of Allah, hadith: 2841, and Muslim in the Book of Zakat, chapter on one who combines charity with deeds of righteousness, hadith: 86/1027, from the hadith of Abu Salama, through this same chain, and it is found in Al-Kubra, hadith: 4393.
