A man came to the Prophet ﷺ while he was on the pulpit and said, "Messenger of Allah, tell me, if I strike with my sword in the path of Allah, patient and seeking reward, advancing and not retreating, until I am killed, will Allah forgive my sins?"He replied, "Yes."When the man turned to leave, the Prophet ﷺ called him back and said, "This is Jibreel saying, except if you have a debt."

جاء رجل إلى النبي ﷺ وهو على المنبر فقال يا رسول الله أرأيت إن ضربت بسيفي في سبيل الله صابرا محتسبا مقبلا غير مدبر حتى أقتل أيكفر الله عني خطاياي قال نعم فلما أدبر دعاه فقال هذا جبريل يقول إلا أن يكون عليك دين
