We performed tayammum with the Messenger of Allah ﷺ using earth, wiping our faces and our arms up to the shoulders.

[Sahih] Ibn Majah narrated it in the Book of Purification, chapter on what has been said about tayammum, hadith no. 566, from the hadith of Zuhri through this same chain, and it is also found in Kubra, hadith no. 301.
